Jim Milliot at Publishers' Weekly posted about Macmillan's new book agreement with Amazon. But reading the entire post you'll discover Macmillan is still tied to Apple as far as discounting their ebooks is concerned. You'll also discover Macmillan intends to put their backlist books into the subscription service companies.
Panzer says, "So Macmillan may have a new contract with Amazon, but they're still tied to Apple and they plan to jump into subscription readers services. That's an interesting contract."
