Spotify Audiobooks+ Add-On Draws Users, Drives Revenue - Publishers Daily

After pushback from people about a TV interview James Daunt did, he released a statement clarifying the company's stance.
AI is definitely a fighting word for some people.

 In the interview James Daunt was asked about AI-Generated book sales. Apparently, some people were unhappy with his response, so he clarified the bookstores' stance and the Publishers Weekly posted about it.

Anthropic Settlement Appears to Cruise Through It's Final Fairness Hearing - Publishing Perspectives

I asked her for a date.

I asked for her phone number so I could call her.
She gave it to me with no hesitation.

Erica Verrillo's list has 54 free to enter writing contests. These include both fiction and nonfiction contests.
 
Panzer says, "Always read all the submission rules and deadlines before you enter."

With Agatha's Endorsement - The Rap Sheet

Has a link to The Rap Sheet site which lists the winners of the Malice Domestic conferences Agatha Awards winners.
You can't get any cozier than than that.
Panzer made a stop at The Rap Sheet site today. There our little traveling kitty found an announcement about the Malice Domestic conference.
 
J. Kingston Pierce's post lists the award winner in each of the six categories announced at the conference. Also included in the post is the other nominees for each award.
 
Panzer says, "Recognize any of your favorite author's names on the list?" 
 
Note: This is a medium length post. Bring a cup of tea and three chocolate chip cookies (biscuits) for your snack.
