Anthropic just rolled out a tool that could decimate some people's dreams of writing AI novels undetected - Business Insider

Link to a post at the Business insider site about Anthropic's Claude putting a watermark on the material it generated.
What's the point if you can undo it?
Here's a post about Anthropic Panzer found on the Business Insider site.

Anthropic announced that effective August 2 Claude will be adding a watermark to all the material it generates.

Panzer says, "So, no more here's my great steamy New York zebra-riding vampire cowboy in love with a dolphin-riding mermaid romance. No. Wait. Read almost all the way to the end and you'll find a way to fix that watermark."

Note: This is a very long post because there are a lot of ads to ignore. Bring a glass of iced tea today.

Why is Anthropic destroying books? - The Guardian

Contains a link to a post at The Guardian site about Anthropic shredding books.
It's a mystery to me.
There are no fires near us. But smoke from the fires on the other side of the mountains are causing hazardous air conditions here. That means we're all coughing, sneezing and feeling rotten. Today's posts are a little hurried and may have spelling etc. mistakes.

Panzer's first stop in the Catosphere today was at The Guardian site.

There's a post there that explains Anthropic's efforts to train the LLM Claude using authors' books. The post includes several links to other information about Anthropic.

Panzer says, "You'll need to read the post to understand what Anthropic did."

Note:This is a very long post.  You'll need to decide what to you want to snack on.
