Survey Results Detail Publishers' Failure to Register Authors' Copyright - Authors Guild

That would make me really mad.

At the Authors' Guild site Panzer found a post about Anthropic settlement problems.

 

The Authors Guild conducted a survey among members about copyright registration by authors' publishers. A significant number of respondents reported their copyrights hadn't been registered. This meant the authors weren't able to collect from the Anthropic settlement.

 

Panzer says, "That's not what you'd expect from a publisher."
