Today Panzer decided to make a stop at the Publishing Perspective site. There with no digging at all he found a post about publisher Macmillan and the departure of CEO John Sargent.
The post by Porter Anderson says publisher Macmillan's parent company Holtzbrinck Publishing Group has announced CEO John Sargent is leaving the company. John Sargent's replacement as CEO Don Weisberg has announced the two will work together until Sargent leaves January 1. John Sargent has lead Macmillan for 24 years. Also announced was the promotion of Susan Winslow from general manager of Macmillan Learning to president of Macmillan Learning.
