Barnes & Noble's 'Solid' 2021 - Publishers Weekly

Today as Panzer was tootling around in the Catosphere he decided to make a stop at the Publishers Weekly site. There with a little digging in the posts our inquisitive kitty found one about Barnes and Noble bookstores.

Panzer says, I like their chairs.
I like their chairs.
Jim Milliot's post is based on an interview with Barnes and Noble CEO James Daunt. According to CEO Daunt, Barnes and Noble 2021 sales were up 5 to 6 percent over 2019 sales. Barnes and Noble plans to continue with the bookstore remodels started when he became CEO. Daunt is also planning in-store in-person events one of which would include children's storytimes. The company also plans more upgrades to the Nook e-reader device for continued online ebook sales.

Panzer says, "It's good to see Barnes and Noble making a comeback."

Note: This is a long-medium length post. Bring a cup of cocoa and a muffin for today's reading.
