40 Writing Contests in August 2023 - No fees - Publishing ... and Other Forms of Insanity

They look like fun contests.

Panzer made a quick stop at the Publishing ... and Other Forms of Insanity site  With just a little digging in the posts he found one about writing contests in August..

 

Erica Verrillo lists 40 contests all with August entry deadlines. There are contests for fiction short stories and novels, nonfiction, essays, poetry, and plays. Some have an August 1 deadline and some have entry restrictions.

 

Panzer says, "Always read the guidelines before you submit."
