How To Find Beta Readers for Your Work - GalleyCat

Mom, I'm a beta reader.
Panzer found a post at GalleyCAT we can all use about finding beta readers. Over the last few months Panzer and I have spent a lot of time looking for beta readers for our writing projects. Beta readers are important to find those holes in the plot we're all blind to. They also find the inconsistent character actions that slip right past us. We need them!

In the post author Aubrey Rose shares that using our family members as beta readers is totally useless. So where can we go to find those readers?

Of Covers and Beta Readers

You probably noticed Panzer and I weren't around the catospere for a few weeks. Smashwords changed the cover requirements for our ebooks (read  about it here  Smashwords: New Ebook Cover Image Requirements Coming to Satis...:)  which meant our covers needed to be redone by our cover designer Jennifer Barnhouse. Panzer's short story collection Cats and Crime is now back from beta reader Shannon Younker and ready for the final edit and formatting.

So ... Panzer's patience has paid off. Things are really starting to happen here. Panzer's Cats and Crime is only a couple of weeks away from going live at Smashwords!
