Amazon is Beta-Testing New Author Pages - The Digital Reader

Panzer was tootling around in the Catosphere when suddenly he heard the sounds of oohing and aahhing outside. Following all the noise took our intrepid kitty traveler to The Digital Reader site. There he found a post about Amazon's Author Pages.

According to The Digital Reader site owner Nate Hoffelder, Amazon is beta-testing some changes to the Author Pages. The post shows an example of the changes comparing an old and new author page for Stephen King. Also included in the post is a link to Joanna Penn's new Author Page.

It looks like a good idea to me.

Panzer says, "The only thing this little kitty noticed different was the author photo is bigger. Oh, wait. Mom used my photo on her Author Page. I'll have to check it out."

Amazon is Beta-Testing a New Author Portal - The Digital Reader

Only 4 Days Until Christmas

Panzer's trip into the Catosphere today took him to the The Digital Reader site. There our traveling kitty pilot found a post about Amazon's new Author Portal.

According to the post by The Digital Reader site owner Nate Hoffelder, Amazon is beta-testing a replacement for Author Central called Amazon Author. The post contains an email Amazon sent to the authors they selected to beta-test the new portal. The email states the new platform makes updating an author bio much easier and faster.

Panzer says, "Hmm ... Guess it's time to update my kitty bio at Amazon."

Amazon is Beta-Testing the Label "Digital Books" - The Digital Reader

Panzer was lounging around on the floor, when the Panzermobile alarm sounded. Hurrying into the Catosphere our inquisitive kitty followed the alert to The Digital Reader site. There he found a post about Amazon.

Now ... Back to my nap.

Site owner Nate Hoffelder says in his post that it has been reported to him that Amazon is beta-testing the new label "Digital Books" for ebooks. Mr. Hoffelder investigated at the Amazon site and did discover some ebooks are carrying the new label. There's a screen shot included in the post. In the lower left corner in the price box is the phrase "Digital Book."

Panzer says, "Hmm ... This kitty isn't sure how much of a difference a new name will make."
