The announcement of the finalists in the 18 categories for the Silver Falchion Awards is posted now.

 

Panzer says, "The winners will be announced on August 22.

An Initial Cut of Falchions - The Rap Sheet

Panzer made a trip to The Rap Sheet site today. There he found a post about the Killer Nashville Silver Falcion Awards.

 

According to J. Kingston Pierce's post Killer Nashville has announced the short lists for each of the categories for the awards. Two of the categories are listed in the post and a link to the others is included at the end.

 

Panzer says, "There are 17 categories, so you'll need to follow the link to see them all."

 

Note: This is a short post. Bring a glass of lemonade to drink while you read the post. If you plan to follow the link also bring three chocolate chip cookies (biscuits) to snack on.

Killer Nashville Silver Falchion Readers' Choice Award - Killer Nashville

Vote for ones you've read.

Panzer made a stop at the Killer Nashville conference site and discovered the voting has started for the Readers' Choice Award.

There are 287 books listed as entries for your voting. You are allowed to vote for up to ten of your favorite books. To make your voting easier the list is in alphabetic order by author. Voting closes July 25. You don't have to attend the conference to vote. Just go to the site.

 

 Panzer says, "You can tell your friends to come and vote too."

 

Note: With a list of 287 books this is a very, very long post. Bring whatever you want to eat and drink while you decide who to vote for.

August 20 is a long time away.

Panzer was awakened from his afternoon nap by clapping coming from the Catosphere. Hopping into the Panzermobile, our curious kitty boy followed all the noise to the Killer Nashville site.

 

There he discovered the announcement of the Silver Falchion Award finalists list. The winners will be announced at a banquet on August 20.
