Gwyl Crime Cymru Festival 2022

Last month Panzer told you about the Gwyl Crime Cymru Festival. It starts next week on April 27 - 29 and on May 2 - 4.

It looks interesting.
The Festival has two panels per day. Because the Festival is in Wales, two of the panels are in Welsh. There are panels on plotting, characters, history and more.

The Festival is online and free, but you must "purchase" tickets to attend.

The link below takes you to the Home site. Click on the Programme and Tickets button on the top banner. There you can read about each panel and "buy" your ticket.

Gwyl Crime Cymru Festival - Wale's First International Crime Literature Festival

Today, Panzer went to the Gwyl Crime Cymru festival site. Our traveling kitty boy discovered because of Covid 19 this year's festival will be online again.

We enjoyed it last year.
The festival consists of two events per evening for a total of twelve. Two of the twelve will be in Welsh and the others in English.  The events cover a wide spectrum of subjects including historical crime, plotting, characters, setting, and more. The festival will be held April 27-29 and May 2-4. Tickets are free, but you must "buy" them in order to attend.

Panzer says, "Mom already got our tickets."

Note: If you click on the Programme and Tickets button on the top bar, it will take you to the ticket ordering page. If you missed last year's festival, the events are on YouTube to watch.

Welsh bookshops set to reopen in April as lockdown eases - The Bookseller

Today's trip into the Catosphere took Panzer to The Bookseller site. There our intrepid kitty traveler found a post about Welsh bookshops.

According to Mark Chandler's post, Wales will start a step-by-step reopening beginning March 15. As long as COVID-19 cases continue to decrease during the beginning phases, Welsh bookshops will reopen on April 12.

Be safe out there.
Panzer says, "Everybody needs to be very careful so people can get back to buying books and reading them."

Note: This is a short post. Bring a cup of tea for today's reading selection.
