Reedsy Has Launched an Epub to Mobi Converter - The Digital Reader

Today, as Panzer was tootling around in the Catosphere the Panzermobile was suddenly shaken by clapping and cheering. Following all the jocularity took our brave kitty boy to The Digital Reader site. There he found a post about Reedsy's new Epub to Mobi converter.

According to The Digital Reader site owner Nate Hoffelder, Reedsy has a new Epub to Mobi converter available. The post states the converter is easy to use and works well. There's a link included in the post to the converter.

The more I save the more catnip I can afford.

Panzer says, "Hmm ...This makes a conversion easier and less expensive."

PublishDrive Launches an eBook Production Tool - The Digital Reader

Convert a file? Easy peasy.

Today's trip into the Catosphere took Panzer to The Digital Reader site. With a little digging in the posts our inquisitive kitty found a post about PublishDrive.

According to The Digital Reader site owner Nate Hoffelder, PublishDrive has announced a new converter for use converting docx files to epub and mobi files. You don't need to be a registered PublishDrive user to use the converter. The original press release is included in the post as well as a link to the converter page.

Panzer says, "This little kitty will be using this converter."

Panzer was tootling around in the Catosphere not looking for anything in particular today.

He found a post at Gordon Burgett's Blog about converting .doc(x) files to epub format. That's a topic he's been wondering about for a long time. My bad boy has been using Smashwords to do all of his ebook distributions because he didn't know how to convert to epub.

Burgett's post has instructions for converting your .doc(x)s using Calibre. Now don't get too excited. It's not hard. His instructions are step-by-step and easy to follow. And ... best of all: Calibre is FREE.
