I heard What's His Name tell Mom that cats were originally domesticated to keep rodents out of stockpiled grain.

You know ...

Most of the time What's His Name doesn't know what he's talking about.

I mean ... Domesticated cats ... That is a ridiculous statement.

But ... When I think about it ...

Maybe he's right with the rest of it.

Because ...

Where are my good kitty treats?

I mean ... Mom's stockpiled containers on the counter of flour, corn meal and rice have absolutely no rodents in them.
