Diamond Bankruptcy Moves to Chapter 7- Publishers Weekly

Diamond Comics Distribution bankruptcy changed from Chapter 11 to Chapter 7

Before leaving the Publishers Weekly site Panzer found this post about the Diamond Comic Distribution bankruptcy.
 
According to Jim Milliot's post, Diamond is changing from a Chapter 11 to Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The post includes links to other information about the Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
 
Panzer says, "This little kitty thought they would change it."

Diamond Bankruptcy Hearing Heats Up - Publishers Weekly

It's an interesting court case.
Today, Panzer made a stop at the Publishers Weekly site. There he found a post about Diamond Comic Distributor's bankruptcy.

According to Jim Milliot's post, the publishers and vendors are still fighting Diamond's plans to sell their products without their permission. The post explains the bankruptcy case, the company's sale and the court decisions so far. The post contains links to other information about the bankruptcy.
 
Panzer says, "This little kitty would never agree to consignment sales without a lot of company investigation first."

Publishers Await Answers on Inventory Tied Up in Diamond Bankruptcy - Publishers Daily

What do you think the court will decide?
Panzer stopped in at the Publishers Weekly site today. There with just a little digging in the posts he one about the Diamond Comic Distributors, Inc. bankruptcy.
 
Sam Spratford's post explains the problem publishers are having with Diamond's bankruptcy. Before Diamond's bankruptcy filing the company was accepting publishers' materials to sell on consignment. After filing for bankruptcy Diamond wants to sell the publishers' materials as part of the bankruptcy.
 
Panzer says, "This will be interesting to see what happens in court."
