The Pinnacle Academy - Brian Jackson

 Panzer was tootling around in the Catosphere and decided to make a stop at The Pinnacle Academy site. The Academy is run by Brian Jackson. He and his wife Melanie are both authors of a lot of books.

 

It's free. It'll only cost you time.

According to the Introduction at the site, the curriculum there is based on some of Brian Jackson's Udemy courses. These Udemy courses were centered around writing and publishing. To use the site, hover over the word in the banner bar you're interested in. This will give you a drop down menu. The beginning of the Introduction is about the platform and how it was built. It's not really an Introduction to the course. The site is currently free to use.

 

Panzer says, "Mom took a couple of his Udemy courses and she had to pay for those."

MIT Free Classes

Panzer is still recovering from yesterday's Thanksgiving turkey, so this morning's trip into the Catosphere was a quick one.

Recovering? I want more.

While this doesn't have anything to do with writing, publishing or books, it looks interesting. Massachusetts Institute of Technology has a program called MIT OpenCourseWare. The OCW site says course materials are available for all the MIT departments and programs. The courses are all free. You can not get a degree here. There's a link included in the instruction to MITx where you can take other courses for free or paid. Taking the free courses at MITx you will not get a degree. Taking the paid courses you will get a certificate.

Google makes its artificial intelligence and machine learning courses open to the public - PC Mag

Panzer was washing the Panzermobile's front window, when he saw a post caught under the passenger seat cushion. When he smoothed out the post our inquisitive kitty cleaner discovered it was from the PC Mag site and about Google's AI courses.

I'm eternally curious about things.

According to Jidu Elias, Google is making their artificial intelligence courses available free to the general public. The post includes a link to the courses and a link to a blog post about Google's reasoning behind the courses. You do need to know algebra, Python and basic computer coding to understand the classes and do the assignments.

Panzer says, "This little kitty knows this post doesn't have anything to do with writing or publishing, but it does seem interesting."
