Bill Clinton writing a second thriller with James Patterson - The Guardian

Today, Panzer decided to make a quick stop at The Guardian site. With no digging in the posts at all our inquisitive kitty found one about Bill Clinton and James Paterson's newest novel writing enterprise.

Hmm ... A U.S. President for your co-author.

According to Alison Flood's post, former U.S. President Bill Clinton is writing a second novel with James Patterson. This novel is titled The President's Daughter. Their first novel together, The President is Missing, is being made into a television movie by Showtime.

Panzer says, "Who better to write novels about presidents than a former president?"

Trump wants to go after Amazon - Business Insider

Panzer was shaken out of his cat bed by all the booing and hissing coming from the Catosphere. Jumping into the Panzermobile our brave pilot headed into the Catosphere to find out what all the noise was about. Following the hullabaloo took him to the Business Insider site where he discovered a post about Amazon and President Trump's threat to attack the company.

According to the post by Bob Bryan who quotes from an Axios post,  President Trump is unhappy with Amazon and because of that is threatening repercussions for the company. He says Amazon is responsible for problems in the business real estate marketplace because small companies are closing. He also blames the company for problems with the U.S. Postal Service. The post does point out that President Trump has a long-standing antagonism toward Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos. Mr. Bezos is the owner of The Washington Post newspaper which has published articles unflattering of President Trump.

Now, back to the important stuff.

Panzer says, "Hmm ... Maybe Amazon is responsible for that flat tire Mom got on the way to work today too."

In Face of NEA Cuts, Small Presses Worry About Their Futures - Publishers' Weekly

Today Panzer was taking his afternoon nap when his cat bed was shaken by screaming and crying coming from the Catosphere. Our sleepy kitty jumped in Panzermobile and headed out. Following all the noise took him to the Publishers' Weekly (PW) site. There he found a post about the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).

Cats had nothing to do with him. You did it.

According to the post by Jason Boog, President Donald Trump's budget for the U.S. government has been given to Congress. As rumored earlier, the President's budget cuts all funding for the National Endowment for the Arts and, therefore, effectively closing the agency. This proposed budget will certainly have a negative impact on small presses. Small presses receive money through sources who themselves receive NEA money. Some presses will be forced to close and others will be tightening their own budgets.

Panzer says, "Umm ... I wonder if there's even more bad news for writers and publishers in this budget."
