When Panzer stopped in at the Mystery Fanfare site today our traveling little kitty boy discovered a post about the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Novel contest winner.

 

The post also contains a link to the site announcing the Old Peculier Crime Novel winner and includes three other category winners.

J. Kingston Pierce's post lists the shortlist for the Theakston Old Peculiar Crime Novel Award. The post also includes the winner and nominees for the Lamda Literary Best Mystery category.

It's been a busy day for me.

At The Rap Sheet today Panzer found some information about the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival.

 

According to J. Kingston Pierce's post, Elly Griffiths was named the Theakston Old Peculier Outstanding Contribution Award winner. The post includes links to other information about Griffiths and the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival.

 

Panzer says, "The post's list of past winners is a Who's Who of crime writers."

Panzer's next stop in the Catosphere today was at The Rap Sheet site. There our traveling kitty boy found an announcement about a prize for British crime novels.

 

J. Kingston Pierce's post lists all 18 of the novels nominated to the long list for the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year.

 

Panzer says, "You'll need to go to The Rap Sheet to see the list and read about the prize."

On a quick trip to The Rap Sheet Panzer found the long list for the Theakston Old Peculiar Crime Novel of the Year.

 

J. Kingston Pierce has the list of the eighteen novels on the long list. There are links explaining the process for choosing the books on the long list. Near the end of the post is a link for readers to vote for their favorite to get the list to the short list.

Whitaker Takes Home Another Honor - The Rap Sheet

Panzer was cleaning out the glove box in the Panzermobile when he discovered a post from The Rap Sheet site about author Chris Whitaker.
