Panzer was tootling around in the Catosphere when he decided to make a stop at the SleuthSayers' blog. There he found a post by Michael Bracken. Michael Bracken has written novels, hundreds of short stories, edited several anthologies, and is a past president of the Short Mystery Society.

The post is about the rules of writing dialog told as a short story. The short story illustrates each of the rules as the characters talk.

Panzer says, "And it's cute too."

It's worth being late for my nap.

Panzer was shaken from his nap in his little kitty bed by laughing and chuckling coming from the Catosphere. Hopping in the Panzermobile, he followed all the jocularity to the SleuthSayers site. There he found a post by O'Neil De Noux about Yogi Berra was causing all the fun.

All cats and writers need to read this.

Today, Panzer decided to make a quick stop at the SleuthSayers site. There with a little digging in the posts, our inquisitive kitty found a post about the important preparations writers need to make before they die.

Michael Bracken's post brings up special things writers need to do. These are things to help their family members take care of the writing business and their royalty payments, the rights to their work, their obituary, and other business duties. This is a serious post.

Panzer says, "This little kitty never thought of writing his own obituary."

Note: This is a long-medium length post. Bring a cup of tea, two muffins and some paper and pen for taking notes for today's reading selection.
