StreetLib Releases eBook App for iOS, Android, and the Web - The Digital Reader

More distribution for my ebooks.

Panzer was tootling around in the Catosphere when he heard oohing and aahhing. Following all the noise took him to The Digital Reader site. With a little digging around he found a post about StreetLib.

According to site owner Nate Hoffelder, ebook distributor StreetLib's new app is available for iOS and Android. The new StreetLib Read is cloud-based, so your ebooks can be read on multiple devices. The app is available through StreetLib, Google Play and iTunes. There's a link in the post to the StreetLib site.

Panzer says, "Hmm ... Another ebook distributor for you to use."

Amazon Announces All-New Kindle App - Easier Than Ever to Read and Connect with Friends - Press Release

You know Halloween is coming, right?

Today, as Panzer was tootling around in the Catosphere he heard strange sounds outside the Panzermobile. Following the whispering took our adventuresome kitty to the Amazon press site. With no digging at allow he found a press release about a new Amazon Kindle app.

According to the press release Amazon has a new Kindle app for your iOS and Android phone or tablet. With both versions of the app you'll be able to read a book or visit the bookstore to look for another book. The iOS app gives you access to Goodreads. That feature will be added to the Android version later. The press release goes into more details about each of the features. It also includes links to download the apps.

Panzer says, "Hmm ... This little kitty wonders if he can text to Goodreads on his phone screen with his long claws."

Litsy App Brings Bookish Conversation to Life Online - Book Business

I need a nap. It's been a long day.

When Panzer woke from his afternoon nap he decided to finish cleaning out the Panzermobile. It's a good thing he did because he found another post under his pilot's seat. The post is from the Book Business site and is a followup to the Litsy post our adventuresome kitty told you about earlier today.

This new post is by Todd Lawton. Mr. Lawton is the co-founder of Litsy. He uses a question and answer format to explain the iOS app.  As Panzer told you earlier Litsy is for readers to engage in 300 character conversations about books. Mr. Lawson's post is geared more toward reasons for publishers to join the "conversations" on Litsy.

Panzer says, "Remember kittens ... This is a post by the co-founder of the app. It's more of a press release about the good points of the app rather than a non-biased post."

Panzer was enjoying tootling around in the Catosphere today when he decided to stop in at the Publishers' Weekly site. After doing a little digging around there, our inquisitive reporter kitty found a post about a new iOS app for book lovers.

According to the post by Ed Nawotka, the new app Litsy is for those who want to only talk about books. Posts must be 300 characters or less. Currently, there are 20,000 users including not just readers but writers and publishers as well .

Panzer says, "Hmm ... Well, 300 characters is better than a Twitter Tweet."
