ThrillerFest Recordings Available Now

Panzer says, There are a lot of recordings.
There are a lot of recordings.
If you missed this year's International Thriller Writers ThillerFest, Panzer discovered the recordings are now available for sale.

The cost depends on which individual class, panel or interview or group of classes panels and interviews you want to purchase. The ordering process is a little complicated, but, if you want the recordings, it's worth the extra steps.

Smatterings of Intelligence -The Rap Sheet

Today, Panzer decided to make a stop at The Rap Sheet site. There our inquisitive kitty boy found a post filled with interesting information.

Panzer says, There's a reason for pennames.
There's a reason for pennames.
J. Kingston Pierce's post includes information on speculation about the identity of an author who uses a penname, information about online interviews with a translator and an author, and information about TV series one old and one new. Links are included to more information about each of these.

Panzer says, "But ... The most important information he includes in the post is about a classic Sherlock Holmes short (short) movie that's even more classic than the ones this little kitty has included here. There's even a link to watch it!"

Note: This is a short-medium length post. Bring a glass of lemonade to drink while you read.

How to Connect with Your Local Public Library - Writers Who Kill

Today, Panzer decided to spend some time searching the Catosphere to find ways to get his books into libraries. His first stop was the Writers Who Kill site. There he found Shari Randall invited two writers associated with libraries to do a post for the blog. The two writers are members of Sisters in Crime with Shari Randall.

Panzer says, Libraries are good places to visit.
Libraries are good places to visit.
In the post Susan Hammerman interviews Cari Dubiel about how authors can get their books in libraries. One of the primary ways is to approach your local library. As is pointed out in the interview, it's a waste of time to email or send information to libraries that have no idea who you are since you have no connection to them.

Panzer says, "There's some good information in the post."

Note: This is a short-medium length post. Bring a cup of tea and a muffin for your reading time.

You'll need a lot of time for watching.
