Bloody Scotland Events Program Available

Bloody Scotland is always a lot of fun.

Panzer's last stop today was at the Bloody Scotland International Crime Writing Festival site.

 

The program for September's Bloody Scotland is available at the site. At the site if you click the View Our Program you'll be taken to a flip book site. If instead you scroll down the page, you'll see all the events. If you click the button under an event, you'll be taken to see the ticket costs. Some of the events are online only.

Bloody Scotland International Crime Writing Festival Program

That's a great line-up of authors to be presenters.

While he was traveling around in the Catosphere today Panzer made a quick stop at the Bloody Scotland site. With no digging at all in the posts he discovered the program for the festival.

 

The program lists all the presenters, the title of the presentation, whether or not the presentation is in-person or online and how much tickets cost.

The Dragons Are Coming!

Repeat after me: Dragons are our friends.

Yes it's true. The dragons are back. You all know how much your favorite kitty boy likes fantasy and sci-fi and gaming and the Dragon Awards.

 

Panzer went to the Dragon Con site and discovered Dragon Con will be August 28 - September 1 this year. It will be held in Atlanta, GA. Now's the time to grab your tickets, because there's only a few days left before the ticket price goes up.

Dragon Con 3024 Tickets Available Now

Panzer wants you to know, if you plan to attend Dragon Con this year, the list of the special guest attendees is now available online.

 

Dragon Con will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, August 29 - September 2. Ticket prices are currently $160, but will increase to $175 on June 14.

The second link below will take you to the Ticket Purchase page, but on the left side of the page are links to the Apparel and Merchandise Vendor and Workshop pages. In the Workshop section you'll find several for writers.

Gwyl Crime Cymru Festival - Wales' International Crime Literature Festival - Free to Attend Online

I attended last year and enjoyed all the book talk.

Today, Panzer has news about the Gwyl Crime Cymru Festival for you. If you don't have the time or money to get to Wales for the Gwyl Crime Cymru Festival, there is another option available.

 

The Gwyl Crime Cymru Festival is Wales' First International Crime Literature Festival.

 

The online festival will be April 17 - 19 and April 22 - 24. (The Apri1 20 - 21 are also available, but are recorded.) The festival online panels are now listed at the site. They're free to attend, but you must register and get a ticket to attend. Be sure to read the panel description before you register because some panels are presented in Welsh. The panels are live.

Barnes&Noble to Host Inaugural Book Tok Festival - Publishers Weekly

It's been a while since Panzer has been to the Publishers Weekly site, so he decided to make a stop there today. With a little digging in the posts, he found one about Barnes and Noble and Book Tok.

 

Didn't take long for tickets to sell out.

According to Sophia Stewart's post, the first Book Tok Festival is scheduled at the Barnes and Noble Union Square, NYC store. Called B&N Toks Books, it's on February 4. Plans include publishers' booths and author talks.

 

Panzer says, " There's a link for tickets, but don't bother. They're sold out.

Bloody Scotland Events List Program

McIlvanney Prize 2021 Short List Announced - Bloody Scotland

Now for my afternoon nap.

Today Panzer discovered Bloody Scotland has announced the five finalists for the McIlvanney Prize. The winner will be announced on September 17. 

 

Tickets to the announcement of the winner will be for either in-person or the online broadcast. 

 

Tickets to attend either are free and a link to get tickets is included in the announcement post.
