Women on Top Down Under - The Rap Sheet

Sisters in Crime are everywhere.
At The Rap Sheet site Panzer found a post about the Sisters in Crime Australia longlist for the Davitt Awards.
 
The Rap Sheet site owner J. Kingston Pierce's post includes the part of the longlist for adult mystery novels. There's a link to more information about the Davitt Awards after the adult novels nominees..
 
Panzer says, "They've been presenting these awards for a long time."

The Last Laurels in Bristol - The Rap Sheet

Will another group take their place?
Today, Panzer made a trip to The Rap Sheet site. There our traveling kitty found a post about CrimeFest convention in the U.K..
 
In his post J. Kingston Pierce lists the CrimeFest award winners and those also nominated. As Panzer told you earlier this month, CrimeFest announced on their site they are closing down. The post also includes links to other information about the closing and reactions to it.
 
Panzer says, "This little kitty will miss them."

Nero Knows Best - The Rap Sheet

As we get close to Christmas there's less news to report.
Panzer made a stop at The Rap Sheet site today. There he found a post about mystery writer Rex Stout's character Nero Wolfe.
 
J.Kingston Pierce's post lists the winners of The Nero Award and The Black Orchid Novella Award.
 
Panzer says, "I wonder if one day there will a Panzer Award for the best mystery solved by a black cat story."

Today, Panzer stopped in at The Rap Sheet site. There our intrepid traveler found a post about the Crime Fiction Lover competition. He told you about your ability to take part in the nomination process in an October 28 post.
 
The post at The Rap Sheet by J. Kingston Pierce has the short lists for the nominees for the six different crime fiction categories. A link is included in the post to go to the Crime Fiction Lover site to cast your vote.

New Talents Among Dagger Champs - The Rap Sheet
