Panzer says, Haven't done it for a while. It wasn't fun anymore.
Haven't done it for a while. It wasn't fun anymore.
Panzer was shaken from his kitty nap by loud noises coming from the Catosphere. Hopping into the Panzermobile, our brave kitty boy followed all the hoopla to the TechCrunch site. There he discovered a post that explained all the angst.

According to a post by Amanda Silberling, NaNoWriMo has announced it is shutting down. The post includes a link to a video about the closure.

Panzer says, "This little kitty quit doing it a few years ago."

Note: This is a short-medium length post. A cup of tea will be enough to snack on. If you want to watch the video, bring a muffin too.

67 Calls for Submissions in April 2025 - Paying markets - Publishing ... and Other Forms of Insanity

Panzer says, Sorry. Nobody's perfect. Wait! I'm a cat. I am perfect. So. Not sorry.
Sorry. Nobody's perfect. Wait! I'm a cat. I am perfect! So, not sorry.
Today, Panzer made a trip to the Publishing ... and Other Forms of Insanity site. There with a little digging in the posts he found one about publishing markets with submission calls that are open in April.

Erica Verrillo's list includes calls for fiction, nonfiction and poetry submissions. Panzer was late finding the post so some of those on the list have an April 1 deadline, but the rest have later April deadlines.

Panzer says, "Be sure to read the guidelines before you submit your work."

Note: This is a very long post. You'll need to decide what to bring to snack on while you read.
